Publication of “Operations Research and Management Science Handbook”

The Operations Research and Management Science Handbook was published earlier this month and I was one of the author who contributed to this book. My adviser and I wrote the second chapter named “A Brief Review of Deterministic Algorithms for Nonlinear Programming” who covers all sorts of well-known optimization techniques. The project started twenty-four months ago and the chapter was actually under its final form about a year and a half ago. It aims to be a quick reference chapter and it features many detailed algorithms that can be directly implemented by the reader. The book is edited by A. Ravidran and published by Taylor and Francis.
